On November 20, 2024, the 26th Director's Office Meeting of the "Standardization Working Committee of the China Electronics Society" was held in Beijing. Shanghai Yili New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Firmli Tech"), as the lead unit, compiled and submitted for approval the first domestic product standard for sulfide solid electrolytes for solid-state lithium batteries - "Sulfide Solid Electrolytes for Solid-State Lithium Batteries" (Standard No.: T/CIE 274-2024). On November 30, after in-depth discussions and deliberations by experts at the meeting, the standard was officially approved and became a group standard of the society.
Firmli Tech has formed a drafting working group together with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai Maritime University, GAC Aion New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., Anhui JAC Automobile Group Co., Ltd., China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd., China Automotive Research Institute Automotive Inspection Center (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd., China Nonferrous Guilin Mineral Geology Research Institute Co., Ltd., Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd., Tianjin Lishen Battery Co., Ltd., BYD Co., Ltd., Hefei Guoxuan High-tech Power Energy Co., Ltd. and other units, and conducted extensive investigations and in-depth and detailed research and analysis on the design and production, performance requirements and testing methods of sulfide solid electrolyte materials.
During the preparation process, the working group strictly followed the requirements of laws and regulations such as the "Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Group Standard Management Regulations", as well as the relevant documents of the National Standardization Administration, and in accordance with the "Management Measures for Standardization Work of the China Electronics Society", conducted standardized tests, comprehensive evaluations and application verifications, and finally formed and verified the feasibility of this product standard.
The approval of this standard not only fills the gap in manufacturing, testing and acceptance standards in the field of sulfide solid electrolytes, a key material for sulfide all-solid-state lithium batteries, but also provides strong support and guarantee for the research and development and application of solid-state lithium battery technology. It will strongly promote the normalization, standardization and high-quality development of the sulfide solid electrolyte industry, and inject new impetus into the innovation and progress of solid-state lithium battery technology.
